Description We are on the lookout for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in West Valley City, Utah. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your main responsibilities will encompass various accounting functions, primarily focusing on accounts payable. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, processing expense reports, and managing the automated clearing house. Responsibilities: • Accurate processing of customer credit applications. • Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records. • Efficiently resolve customer inquiries and issues. • Keep a close watch on customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions. • Execute account coding in a precise manner. • Regularly use Concur for various accounting functions. • Handle accrued expenses and expense accruals with attention to detail. • Ensure accurate and timely expense reconciliation. • Process expense reports in an efficient manner. • Utilize Oracle and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as an Accounts Payable Specialist. • Experience with Concur software is essential. • Demonstrated understanding of accounting functions. • Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures. • Familiarity with accrual accounting principles. • Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. • Proficiency in Oracle software. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with accrued expenses and their management. • Familiarity with expense accruals. • Experience in expense reconciliation is required. • Ability to process expense reports accurately and efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
