Description We are looking to incorporate an Accounts Payable Specialist into our organization. This role is based in KENTWOOD, Michigan, and will involve the individual working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role revolves around the management of customer accounts, specifically focusing on account reconciliations and invoice processing. Responsibilities: • Ensuring precise and timely processing of invoices on a weekly basis • Regularly communicating with customers to address their queries and concerns • Managing account reconciliations for customers • Regularly updating and maintaining customer credit records • Creating and managing accrual reports • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Ensuring accurate data entry and coding of invoices • Managing check runs and using software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist with a minimum of one year in a similar role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and procedures. • Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP). • Experience with check runs and managing payments. • Familiarity with coding invoices and ensuring proper categorization. • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. • Experience in invoice processing and resolving discrepancies. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for processing and analyzing data. • Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data. • Experience with QuickBooks for managing business transactions. • Knowledge of SAP for business process management.
