Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Irving, Texas. The individual will be a crucial part of our team, taking on responsibilities that will directly influence our financial and purchasing operations. Responsibilities: • Ensure the precise processing of customer credit applications • Maintain the correct general ledger segments for non-PO invoices • Identify invoices that require self-assessed sales tax • Verify the correctness of vendor invoices scanned into our accounting system • Execute weekly ACH and check payment runs • Communicate effectively with the AP, Finance, and accounting teams to streamline department processes • Assist in the review process of 1099 and other accounting projects • Process 3-way matches for PO related invoices accurately • Conduct research on price discrepancies and collaborate with the procurement team to find solutions • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure they remain current and accurate. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial records • Solid experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP), with a strong understanding of AP processes and procedures • Ability to manage Check Runs efficiently, ensuring all checks are issued on time and correctly • Experience in Coding Invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers • Strong data entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed • Proficient in Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner • Good knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data • Familiarity with Oracle software, with practical experience in its application in accounts payable management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
