Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to become part of a thriving team in Chattanoga, Tennessee. You will be tasked with handling customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and implement necessary actions. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Manage high volume invoicing for repetitive vendors • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices • Operate accounting software systems • Efficiently process customer credit applications, with an emphasis on accuracy • Maintain comprehensive customer credit records • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed • Process expense reports and facilitate Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments for direct deposit • Scan batches of documents and attribute them to the appropriate customer accounts Requirements + AS in Accounting and Finance preferred + 2-3 years proven Accounts Payable experience required + Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel skills + Experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Netsuite, Oracle, etc.) wanted + Strong experience with three-way match + Proven background in ACH payments and expense reports + Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed + Strong communication and organizational skills **All candidates must undergo drug and background screening for consideration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
