\n \n Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist II is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to properties throughout North America. The position is a liaison between the Shared Service Center and the branches.

Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nVerify supporting documentation meets documentation requirements. \nWork with the requestor for additional information necessary to complete the request, still within the initial SLA agreement.\nDevelops and maintains relationships with internal and external business partners while offering unsurpassed customer service.\nAccounts Payable Specialist II will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time as requested by department management.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\n

Required Knowledge and Skills:

\n\nAnalytical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various forms and formats.\nAbility to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. \nCapacity to be self-directed while working as a member of a larger team.\nPerform calculations and analysis used in basic accounting. \nBasic knowledge in proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n

Education and Experience:

\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience\n\n
