Position Overview:
We are excited to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to our Order Management team to ensure on time delivery of open purchase orders to support production demand.
What your day-to-day may look like:
Analyze purchase orders and supplier invoices to resolve discrepancies and reconcile past-due invoices. Coordinate with suppliers and AP to address price, delivery, and invoice issues, ensuring timely resolution. Provide clear and concise data analysis to support supply chain decisions. Ensure continuous supply of materials, communicating any risks or supply issues impacting business operations. Lead purchasing activities with various departments to solve complex material supply issues and escalate urgent orders. Proactively manage suppliers to improve delivery dates, escalating within supplier organizations when necessary. Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures while addressing receiving issues and recommending best practices.To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or supply chain management. Three to five years of experience in procurement or accounts payable. Proficient in SAP and Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros). Well-versed in other MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred knowledge and experience:
Holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Accounting, with a deep understanding of supply chain processes and the complete accounts payable cycle. Demonstrates the ability to adapt to shifting priorities from various business owners and consistently meets project deadlines. Possesses strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and is adept at problem-solving. Proven leadership in guiding teams through complex issues and encourage positive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, California is $60,900 - $70,000. This position is eligible for overtime. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
