Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in the detail-oriented services industry. Located in the Washington, D.C. area, this role involves managing the processing of high-volume vendor payable invoices, vendor maintenance, and expense reports. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced team and will be instrumental in process enhancement and policy implementation. Responsibilities • Oversee the processing of large-volume vendor payable invoices, including expense reports. • Ensure accurate and efficient credit card reconciliations, EFTs & ACHs. • Manage the system for all payables, focusing on process improvement and policy review. • Handle the sales & uses tax processing. • Lead and train the Accounts Payable staff. • Set up new vendors within the ERP System. • Address and resolve discrepancies with payments and vendor inquiries. • Monitor monthly accruals and variances in vendor payments.
