Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the transport industry at our Riviera Beach, Florida location. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager who is highly organized and detail-oriented. This role will involve processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries, as well as monitoring customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising and managing the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Overseeing the maintenance of precise customer credit records
• Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on account activity
• Ensuring smooth operation of the Accounts Payable (AP) processes within the team
• Implementing effective strategies for accounts payable management
• Collaborating with other departments for process improvement and problem-solving
• Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to team members. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the Accounts Payable department, preferably in the transport industry.
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Proficiency in using financial software and office productivity tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Familiarity with transport industry regulations and financial standards.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Knowledge of financial legislation, regulation, and practices in the transport industry.
• Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining financial records and managing budgets.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology.
