Job Summary
\n\nThe Accounts Receivable Adjustments Specialist will process branch requests to reconcile transactions. This is an accounting support position in a fast paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa's credit requirements.
\n\n\n\nDuties include but are not limited to:
\n\nWork with branch and customer service to resolve and correct missing/misapplied payments.\nAble to review and explain account activity.\nAble to identify account discrepancies.\nProcess adjustments to owner accounts as approved by Community Association Manager.\nReceive notices from bank and enter adjustments related to NSF, Stop Payment and Closed accounts.\nEnter reimbursable charges as necessary.\nEnter balance forward for new accounts.\nGenerate appropriate communications to homeowners following activity completion.\nHigh volume workflow management.\n\nRefunds

\n\n\nSetup ACH data
\n\n\n\n RequirementsKnowledge and Skills
\n\nKnowledge of assessing credit on receivables. \nKnowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP).\n\nEducation and Experience
\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience\n\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n
