Accounts Receivable Analyst
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team. Based in WAPPINGERS FALLS, New York, this role is integral to our financial services sector. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, your responsibilities will include maintaining and reconciling customer accounts, resolving complex outstanding balances, and enhancing our collections methods. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Accurately process and post customer credit applications. • Oversee the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs. • Ensure the precise upkeep of customer credit records, including the posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. • Monitor account statuses, reporting on any accounts that enter into “past due” status. • Conduct research on complex accounts with outstanding balances for resolution. • Develop and implement collections methods to consistently achieve or exceed company financial targets. • Process credit card payments in a prompt and efficient manner. • Collaborate with internal and external customers regarding invoices, payments, and agreement terms, resolving disputes effectively. • Provide support during year-end audits as required. • Generate reports using excel, including manipulation of pivot table fields and updating XLookup functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential • Experience with CRM tools is necessary • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must • Understanding of ERP Solutions is crucial • Ability to handle Accounting Functions is required • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential • Familiarity with Billing Functions is crucial • Experience in managing Cash Activity is a must • Proficiency in Sage Intacct is necessary • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential • Ability to create and manage Pivot Tables is required • Experience with the Salesforce Platform is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
