Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team located in WAPPINGERS FALLS, New York. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be tasked with the management and oversight of our customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Ensure all customer payments are properly posted and accounted for by reconciling the accounts receivable ledger. • Consistently monitor accounts, reporting on any that enter a 'past due' status, and analyze aging reports and trends to identify process improvements. • Conduct research on complex accounts that have outstanding balances and negotiate with customers to resolve these balances. • Develop and implement collection methods that align with our company's financial targets. • Carry out cash management duties, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. • Process customer credit card payments accurately. • Foster effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external customers regarding invoices, payments, and agreement terms, working to resolve disputes and provide quality customer service. • Support year-end audits by providing necessary information and reports. • Use excel for reporting, including manipulation of pivot table fields and updating XLookup functions. • Participate in special projects and other duties as directed. Skills: • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions. • Familiarity with Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Cash Activity. • Experience with Sage Intacct, Microsoft Excel, Pivot Table, Salesforce Platform.
