Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Analyst to become an integral part of our team in WAPPINGERS FALLS, New York. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The chosen candidate will be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. This offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications. • Maintain precise customer credit records. • Monitor accounts for any changes to the "past due" status, and report these changes. • Analyze aging reports and trends to devise solutions for process improvements. • Conduct research on complex accounts with outstanding balances for resolution and negotiate with customers to settle outstanding balances. • Develop methods for collections that consistently meet or exceed company financial targets. • Execute cash management duties, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. • Process credit card payments. • Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external customers regarding invoices, payments, and agreement terms. • Resolve disputes and provide exemplary customer service through effective communication. • Support year-end audits. • Report using Excel, including manipulating pivot table fields and updating XLookup functions. • Complete all special projects and other duties as directed.
