Accounts Receivable Analyst
Accounts Receivable Analyst Location: Farmington Type: Onsite Hours per week: 37.5 Job Description: The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be part of a team responsible for the collection of direct premiums from brokers, specifically within the commercial insurance sector (e.g., Nationwide, Aflac, Next). Responsibilities: + Collect direct premiums from brokers and maintain receivables on a current basis across various underwriting systems. + Follow up on past-due payments. + Maintain and update client billing information as needed. + Identify collection issues and assist in appropriate resolution. + Reconcile daily cash applications. + Reconcile and resolve differences in broker accounts. + Research and resolve unapplied cash items. + Process cancellations for non-payment of premiums. + Process cash in the Accounts Receivable application. + Handle special projects as needed. Essential Skills: + Accounts receivable and collections experience, particularly in commercial insurance. + Basic understanding of AR / Collections. + Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work independently. + Organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred but not required. Degrees in other disciplines or no degree will also be considered. + Two plus years of direct collections experience preferred. + Experience in the commercial insurance industry is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
