Summary

The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist III is responsible for managing and tracking customers' account data, issuing and delivering invoices on time, processing credit adjustments, maintaining and collecting revenue from customer accounts, and providing various data reports upon request.

Position Responsibilities

Generates and processes invoices in a timely, efficient manner, utilizing our ERP systemPosts customer payment receipts by recording cash, checks, credit card transactions and adjustmentsMonitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularitiesConducts collections calls on past due accountsResearches and resolves accounts receivable aging/collection issues in a timely manner, and escalates issues when necessaryProcesses credit memos, as neededGenerates AR aging report for review and analysisMaintains accounts receivable customer files and recordsCommunicates with customers via phone, email and mail. Investigate and resolves customer inquiriesAssists Accounting department, as needed, with month-end closingWorks on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendationsOther duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is requiredMinimum of 2 – 4 years' experience in Accounts Receivable and/or general accounting or equivalent combination of experience and educationGeneral knowledge of accounting principlesSuccessfully operates a calculator, computer, and other general office equipmentSpeed and accuracy are critical components of the position, as is successfully multi-taskingProficiency in Microsoft Office, including an intermediate level of proficiency in ExcelCustomer-service and detail oriented with high level of written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

The salary range for this role is:

$23 - $32
