Position Description:
Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable / Business to Business Collections Specialist! You’ll be the go-to person for handling both internal and external inquiries about business-level receivable accounts. Your main responsibility will be managing the delinquency on a portfolio of accounts, all while providing outstanding customer service. Principal Responsibilities:
Contacting customer’s daily to ensure payments are made by the due date. Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from the customer, sales team and other departments. Resolve collections by examining customer’s payment process, payment history and billing setup and coordinating customer contact with the Credit Manager and/or Sales Teams. Field incoming calls and emails, providing outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field. 0+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or business experience preferably in AR / Collections.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Customer service experience. Sales Inbound and/or Outbound call experience preferred. Knowledge of computer systems: MS Office products, (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SAP experience preferred. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal skills that establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly. Ability to support accounting/finance decisions with logical evidence and persuasively present position. Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally and written effectively with all levels of the organization
