Benefits & Perks:$48,000-$58,000/year Responsibilities:
Manage collections, following up on overdue accounts and identifying trends that may lead to delinquencyEnsure customers stay within payment termsCollaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issuesPrepare and send account statements to customersReconcile customer accounts when necessaryProcess and post payments (cheques, credit cards, EFT)Scan cheques and prepare deposits as requiredConduct credit checks for internal staff on shipmentsProcess occasional client refundsPerform occasional bank runsSupport other accounting duties as neededQualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a multi-company environmentExperience in the freight or customs brokerage industry is an assetStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven experience in handling AR collectionsExcellent customer service and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesSome knowledge of the transportation or customs brokerage sector is beneficialMust be legally authorized to work in Canada (applications for LMIA or Express Entry will not be considered)A reliable vehicle is required, as public transit is not available to our office location
