Job Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating departmental operations and assignments. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless project execution and initiative coordination across the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting credit-related transactions for all Leslie’s entities, analyzing commercial customer credit accounts, and facilitating payment processing. You will collaborate closely with various teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve project objectives.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound calls for credit authorization, troubleshoot customer accounts, and collaborate with the commercial sales team to resolve account and invoice issues. Address inbound customer calls, assisting with account inquiries, payment discrepancies, and invoice requests. Monitor and manage delinquent accounts, initiating outbound collection calls and correspondence. Post customer payments, research account adjustments, and reconcile customer accounts. Utilize collections databases to track overdue invoices and maintain collection status on delinquent accounts. Coordinate project schedules, resources, and activities to meet organizational goals. Support team members and foster a collaborative work environment aligned with Leslie’s mission and values. Manage essential tasks to enhance organizational efficiency, proactively addressing potential issues. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.Qualifications:
1-3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related roles, preferably in retail or consumer goods. Experience with customer calls, collections, payment processing, credit approval, and account setup preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with AS400, Microsoft D365, and Access is advantageous.Leslie's provides a robust benefits package, including:
