Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the Manufacturing industry located in Aurora, Illinois. In this role, you'll be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Manage the accurate maintenance of customer credit records. • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. • Execute tasks related to ACH payments and Lockbox operations. • Perform Wire Transfers and manage Credit Requests. • Undertake D& B research as part of the job function. • Handle Payment Offsets and ensure they are carried out correctly. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. • Ensure that Tax Credits are processed and applied correctly. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of one year experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is mandatory. • Familiarity with the Lock Box system is essential. • The applicant must have a strong understanding of the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial operations. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. • Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
