Accounts Receivable Clerk
Description We are looking for a diligent Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Accounts Receivable team across various tasks, including collections, vendor communication, and cash applications. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Support the Accounts Receivable team with multiple responsibilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. • Handle collection activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing. • Communicate effectively with vendors, fostering strong relationships and addressing any issues or concerns. • Manage billing portals, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly. • Handle cash applications, ensuring all payments are properly applied and recorded. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and manipulate data, aiding in reporting and decision-making processes. • Leverage your skills in QuickBooks and SAP to manage financial transactions and generate reports. • Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring all information is up-to-date. • Be tech-savvy, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in your role. • Manage vendor relationships, acting as the point of contact for any queries or concerns, and ensuring a robust and effective vendor management process. Requirements • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar field • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Commercial Collections, and Enter Vendor Invoices • Strong capability in managing vendor relationships • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP software • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management • Must have a strong sense of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential • High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor's degree in finance or related field is preferred.
