Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Retail industry, based in Montvale, New Jersey. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, handling credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries with efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process credit applications from customers • Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data • Use SAP for managing billing and collection processes • Assist with contract-related matters in the realm of billing and collecting • Exhibit problem-solving skills in case of discrepancies or issues • Show self-motivation in managing tasks and responsibilities. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing and maintaining financial data. • Experience with SAP is required as it is the primary software used for financial transactions. • Demonstrated skills in billing collection, vital for ensuring the timely receipt of payments. • A minimum of an Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. • Previous experience in a similar role within the retail industry is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling financial information. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
