Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Trussville, Alabama. As part of a small team in the manufacturing industry, you'll be situated in the front office, handling tasks related to customer credit applications, records, and inquiries. Responsibilities: • Accurate data entry to ensure all customer information is up-to-date • Conducting basic bookkeeping tasks in a precise and organized manner • Preparing Accounts Receivable (AR) statements for review and distribution • Sending out account statements to customers in a timely fashion • Addressing and resolving any disputes related to past due balances • Engaging in regular contact with customers to settle account balances • Regularly monitoring customer accounts to detect any discrepancies • Undertaking reconciliation tasks to balance accounts • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and UKG Pro for the execution of various tasks • Participating in B2B collections and processing payments when necessary Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory • Demonstrable expertise in B2B collections is required • Proficiency in Collections and Commercial Collections is essential • Ability to process payments efficiently and accurately • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required • Familiarity with UKG Pro is a plus • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask • A high level of numeracy and understanding of finance processes • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
