Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team within the manufacturing industry, based in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity, with a blend of remote and on-site work. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be entrusted with the task of managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and addressing customer inquiries. Also, you will be expected to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Responsibilities: • Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately • Regularly monitor and manage customer accounts • Maintain accurate records of customer credit • Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring speed and accuracy, primarily using Microsoft Excel • Undertake basic accounts receivable tasks and occasional collections • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient processes and workflows are maintained • Perform other related duties as assigned, to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts receivable function. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or relevant field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. • Demonstrable experience in data entry is required. • Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Ability to work in the manufacturing industry is crucial. • Adeptness in handling financial data with accuracy. • Capability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. • Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures is appreciated.
