Accounts Receivable Clerk
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in our retail team, based in Montvale, New Jersey, 07645, United States. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our billing systems and customer accounts. Your main duties will involve processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and dealing with customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and speed • Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure their accuracy • Resolve customer inquiries, providing excellent service in all interactions • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes • Operate within the SAP environment for billing and collection activities • Utilize your problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise in billing and collection • Act as a self-motivated team member, contributing to the smooth running of our retail operations. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, manage, and analyze spreadsheets with considerable data • Experience working with SAP software, particularly in the area of finance and accounting • Capable of handling billing collection duties, including maintaining up-to-date billing system and carrying out account reconciliation • Previous experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of its unique financial processes • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent data entry skills and familiarity with administrative duties • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on resolving any discrepancies or queries related to invoice • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the retail industry.
