Description We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the oil industry, located in Midland, Texas. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a vital role in our operations, working closely with our administrative team. Your primary responsibilities will include generating timely and accurate invoices for customers, maintaining comprehensive customer credit records, and resolving any billing issues that may arise. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Generate accurate invoices for customers on a daily basis • Collaborate with team members to gather necessary billing information from customers • Submit invoices in accordance with customer requirements, including use of various electronic portals • Regularly monitor portal disputes or missing data and take appropriate action • Respond to and resolve customer billing issues promptly • Keep up-to-date notes on weekly AR Aging Report • Actively participate in weekly collections call • Ensure strict adherence to month-end deadlines • Maintain electronic files accurately and ensure they are updated and easily accessible • Assist operations with reimbursement expense reports as needed • Help with various tasks as requested by team members • Answer phone calls and direct communications as needed • Welcome and guide visitors appropriately • Handle incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.) • Use office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential. • Must have demonstrated skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) management. • Experience with billing procedures is necessary. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Must have experience using Open Invoice software.
