Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team, located in Pompano Beach, Florida. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely account reconciliation. Your proficiency in accounting software and strong customer service skills will be crucial in this role. Responsibilities: • Process incoming payments efficiently and accurately • Maintain detailed accounts receivable transaction records, including invoices and payment history • Work with the public accounting team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts • Ensure all transactions are accounted for through diligent account reconciliation • Communicate effectively with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment inquiries • Utilize accounting software such as Sage ERP for tracking and managing accounts • Prepare journal entries related to accounts receivable as needed Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Familiarity with Billing operations is necessary. • Ability to handle Cash Applications effectively. • Demonstrable skills in Cash Collections. • Experience in Commercial Collections is needed. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Knowledge of Oracle systems is required. • Familiarity with QuickBooks software is advantageous. • Proficiency in SAP software is a must.
