Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be working within the accounts department, focusing on cash applications, and engaging in customer service duties. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Conduct detailed research on payments and resolve any discrepancies
• Handle large volumes of data meticulously
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their accounts
• Show self-motivation in performing daily tasks and responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with the Cash Application team and other contractors
• Utilize skills in accounts receivable to manage and monitor customer accounts
• Apply your knowledge of healthcare-specific systems like HealthCare.gov and TRICARE in your daily tasks
• Use video communication tools for internal team meetings and discussions. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills to manage client relationships.
• Demonstrated experience in Communication, capable of articulating complex financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
• Familiarity with Payment Processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all incoming payments.
• Strong Research skills, capable of investigating and resolving discrepancies in accounts receivable records.
• Experience in handling Cash Activity, including preparation of bank deposits and reconciliation of cash receipts.
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR), maintaining accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Basic knowledge of Video technology, as it may be used for remote meetings and consultations.
• Familiarity with the HealthCare.gov platform, including its use for insurance enrollment and account management.
• Experience in Customer Account management, including the resolution of client queries and disputes.
• Knowledge of R Code, although not essential, would be considered a valuable asset.
• Experience working with Offshore teams, demonstrating effective cross-cultural communication skills.
• Proficiency in Cash Applications, ensuring all payments are correctly applied to customer accounts.
• Experience working in a Corporate Office environment, demonstrating professionalism and adherence to company policies.
• Familiarity with TRICARE, including its use for processing insurance claims.
• Knowledge of NIS (NHS Information System), ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
