Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in OMAHA, Nebraska. Working within the Non-Profit industry, your role will encompass the careful processing of customer financial transactions and the diligent maintenance of accurate customer records. You will play an integral role in our team, ensuring the smooth operation of customer accounts and providing essential support to our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections
• Support the month-end closing processes by providing necessary data for financial reporting
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies
• Maintain comprehensive records of transactions and generate aging reports as required
• Process customer invoices and payments with accuracy and expedience
• Perform account reconciliations as part of the routine financial operations
• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP proficiently to aid in your responsibilities
• Apply your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections effectively Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation, demonstrating the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management, capable of tracking and recording incoming payments accurately.
• Familiarity with Billing procedures, displaying a strong ability to prepare, send, and store invoices.
• Expertise in Cash Applications, showcasing the ability to apply cash receipts to customer invoices correctly.
• Experience in Cash Collections, demonstrating skill in contacting customers to resolve payment issues and ensure timely collections.
• A background in Commercial Collections, with the capacity to manage and recover outstanding payments from commercial clients.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, capable of creating complex spreadsheets for financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in Oracle financial software, demonstrating the ability to manage and analyze financial data.
• Experience with QuickBooks, showcasing the ability to manage financial transactions and generate financial reports.
• Familiarity with SAP, displaying a strong understanding of its financial modules for effective financial management.
