Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our client in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Gonzales, Louisiana. The role offers a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity, where you'll be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing applications, and dealing with inquiries. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle cash applications and cash collections • Accurately reconcile accounts • Promptly manage billing tasks and processes • Maintain up-to-date and precise records of accounts receivable • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks • Handle commercial collections with detail oriented and efficiency. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), with the ability to effectively manage and track all outstanding payments • Familiarity with Billing procedures, able to issue invoices and manage customer accounts efficiently • Understanding of Cash Applications, capable of applying received payments to the correct accounts • Experience in Cash Collections, able to follow-up on overdue accounts and ensure timely payments • Knowledge of Commercial Collections, able to handle B2B collections professionally and effectively • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions for financial tracking and reporting • Experience with Oracle financial software, able to navigate and use for accounts receivable management • Familiarity with QuickBooks, able to use for invoicing, payment tracking, and financial reporting • Proficiency in SAP, with the ability to manage financial transactions and produce reports Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
