Description Job Description: Perform AR-related duties of the Accounting Department, respective to company policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role is part of a shared services group supporting 2 local facilities. The duties include the following tasks and may include others as the role requires. This role is also 100% On-Site · Conduct customer maintenance in the ERP system · Process daily invoices respective to each site’s shipments. · Process daily payment collections and/or bank deposits, received through the mail or electronically. · Process credits and/or payments discounts as needed. · Communicate with customers and/or issue customer statements to initiate and/or resolve collections. · Collaborate with the Operations & Finance team members as needed. · Investigate and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies. · Complete intercompany reconciliations. · Maintain an AR Aging report for management and customer-base. · Prepare role-related reconciliations per company policies. · Prepare Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) required support relative to role. · Prepare journal entries as needed/approved. · Follow company policies regarding proper approvals on all transactions. · May occasionally perform other tasks or be cross trained as a backup.
