Description We are in search of a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to be part of our team situated in Santa Maria, California. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your core role would entail managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and ensuring prompt customer payments. You would be working in an industry that demands accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities • Oversee customer credit applications with utmost accuracy and efficiency • Maintain precise records of customer credit • Promptly address customer inquiries and concerns • Manage customer accounts and implement necessary actions • Ensure timely completion of daily invoicing in the ERP system and customer portals • Ensure all cash receipts are deposited and updated in our ERP system • Generate Customer Aging reports for month end and year-end processes • Provide support to the Controller and CFO as required • Use Microsoft Excel for efficient account reconciliation, billing, and cash collections • Establish and maintain a trustful relationship with customers to ensure timely payments and reduce company risk. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential. • Strong knowledge and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • The candidate must have skills in Billing procedures and methodologies. • Expertise in Cash Applications is necessary. • Experience in Cash Collections is a must. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is strongly desired.
