Accounts Receivable Clerk
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in HONOLULU, Hawaii. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash transactions, ensuring financial records are accurately maintained, and liaising with banks to secure optimal rates for our clients. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications. • Keeping customer credit records accurate and up to date. • Taking appropriate actions to manage customer accounts. • Reviewing current investments for each property to ensure all accounts are within FDIC limits. • Preparing investment sheets for upcoming maturities and securing approval from Property Managers. • Executing investment instructions approved by Property Manager/Board. • Maintaining an updated rate book. • Preparing transfer requests to and from Reserve Accounts. • Journalizing investment transactions to the General Ledger. • Communicating with banks to secure the best rates possible for our clients. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory. • Must have substantial experience in Accounts Receivable (AR). • Familiarity with Billing processes and procedures is required. • Must have the ability to handle Cash Applications efficiently. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. • Previous experience in Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is preferred. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are necessary. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, higher education is preferred. • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
