As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our accounts receivable process. Your responsibilities will include preparing and sending invoices, processing payments, reconciling customer accounts, and resolving outstanding issues with clients. You will also assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes and provide support to the finance team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly. Record and post payments received from customers accurately. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Follow up with customers on past due accounts and arrange payment solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and account information. Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes. Provide support to the finance team as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial role. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
