Job Description

We are seeking an experienced accounts receivable/collections coordinator to join a premier designer and manufacturer!

Responsibilities

•\tReviews status of delinquent accounts and initiates collection activity by contacting each account. 

•\tResearch disputed delinquent account balances.

•\tPrepare account reconciliations for customers - Corrects any errors, including misapplied payments, tax adjustments, billing, and shipping errors.

•\tMaintains accurate customer files, keeps track of name changes, address changes, and mailing attention for all accounts.

•\tCoordinates with customers and internal departments to reconcile customer accounts.

•\tResponsible for customer requests for correspondence including copies of statements, invoices, credit memos and PODs. 

•\tResponsible for documenting all correspondence with customers to the operating system’s customer interactions.

•\tInitiate requests for credit memos, return to factory and cash application as needed.

•\tGenerate recommendations to the Credit Department for account credit holds.

•\tProactively engage with the sales team on their customers who are overdue or causing issues.

•\tProvide bi-weekly reports for management.

•\tAny other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills3-5+ years of accounts receivable/collections experience.Experience managing large portfolio accounts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table & Vlookup)Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure.Work Environment

This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) role located in Piscataway, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.85/hr.
