Description Rapidly expanding New York City organization is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist. The role is based out of our office in New York, New York, United States. As an Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments. The role is heavily reliant on communication, primarily through phone and email, to establish and maintain business-to-business relationships. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications • Ensure the timely collection of outstanding payments through phone and email communication • Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary • Cultivate and maintain business-to-business relationships to facilitate collections • Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions to manage collection processes • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and payments. Requirements • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable / Collections experience. • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Demonstrated experience in Billing Functions. • Proven knowledge of Collection Processes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze financial data. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
