Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
+ Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
+ Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
+ Prepares credit memos to indicated returned or incorrectly billed items for customers
+ Assists with end of month closing
+ Setup new Customers in Accounting systems
+ Assist in customer billing as needed.
Qualifications:
+ College graduate with degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred
+ Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience from a professional setting
+ Basic understanding of financial statements and finance related deadlines
+ Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
+ Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
