Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Job Overview:

 

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is a hybrid position responsible for Client Accounts Receivable Delinquencies and Resales Transactions which ensure new homeowners set up.  This position is a critical and integrated member of the Accounting team and a successful candidate will have previous related accounting experience and the ability to function effectively in a fast paced, high transaction processing environment. 

 

The position requires an individual who is ambitious, self-directed, and capable of working autonomously or with the leadership team to achieve the business and financial goals of the company.

 

Compensation: $20-21/hr

 

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for ensuring that all of the appropriate delinquency actions, as outlined in an association’s delinquency policy, are carried out. Responsible for the timely preparation / distribution of monthly delinquency report to each associations’ Board of Directors. Maintains and monitors all delinquency files in accordance with Delinquency Dept. filing procedures. Responsible for the intake of homeowner requests such as waivers and payment plans. Accurately and timely include requests for board review. Monitor that requests are carried out per board instructions. Responsible in the processing of transfer of ownerships resulting from resale transactions and address updates. Responsible to assist in the posting of all payments received from escrow and cash posting. Responsible to retrieve the escrow documents from 3rd party vendor, review the documents for completeness, and notate that the escrow closed on the 3rd party vendor website. Responsible to assist in ensuring all processed resale paperwork is parsed out accurately in the file folders. Responsible to assist in the electronic filing of all processed resale paperwork once Copy Shop scanning is complete. Responsible to assist in the processing of the daily sync from Connect to Jenark. Timely for work and meetings. Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

 

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate on the phone.

 

Education & Experience:

 

2+ years of customer service experience 2+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding computers and computer programs High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Occasional overtime may be required. Consistent and regular attendance required.

 

Hours over and above normal office hours will occur, including evenings, holidays, and some weekends. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
