Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage all aspects of accounts receivable, credit, collections, and cash receipts. This role is vital in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister cash applications including bank downloads, lockbox, and applying deposits to customer accounts.Prepare daily and weekly check deposits.Perform routine maintenance such as address changes, direct deposit modifications, and preparing W-9 Forms.Set up, maintain, and establish credit for customer accounts; run D&B and Atradius reports.Set up new customers.Assist in uploading and downloading customer invoices to various portals.Investigate past due accounts receivable issues, collect on past due accounts, and investigate short-paid accounts.Maintain accurate and detailed notes on all outstanding customer accounts.Effectively communicate with customers and internal employees.Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.Meet department deadlines.File customer documents after research.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Three to five years of experience in accounts receivable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft D365.Knowledgeable in various portals such as Tungston and Coupa.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service.Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the manufacturing industry.Strong cash application skills, especially during month-end.Experience with collections and resolving past due invoices.Ability to research and resolve short payments, price discrepancies, and credits.Experience with customer set up and entering critical data into the system.Knowledge of running credit checks using D&B and Atradius.Experience with reconciliation of customer accounts and making necessary system entries.Familiarity with using multiple portals for invoice uploads.Experience with large ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365.Experience in the flavor/fragrance industry is a plus.Knowledge of accounts payable is a plus.Work Environment
This position is fully in-office, working alongside one other AR person and two AP people. You will report to the AR Supervisor. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
