Accounts Receivable Manager, Credit and Collection

The Accounts Receivable Manager oversees credit and collections for the Americas region and drives AR results through collaboration with regional team leaders. This hands-on role manages a team (8-10) and performs detailed tasks to deliver free cash flow for the company. This role is critical in optimizing financial operations and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development: Coach, train, and develop current and new staff within the credit and collection team. Set performance goals and conduct reviews. Credit & Cash Management: Manage credit policies and evaluation, cash collections, and resolve billing issues. Ensure timely collections aligned with financial goals. Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Quickly identify and lead the team to resolve issues related to billing, collections, and credit management. Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and participate in projects such as automation for overall efficiency and accuracy. Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant financial regulations. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting credit and collection. Reporting & Forecasting: Establish accurate forecasts and plans for AR and DSO. Prepare and present regular reports on AR performance.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AR, Credit and Collection management; prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present financial data to senior management. Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a keen focus on accuracy and detail. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
