Description
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team in the healthcare industry in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This role entails managing cash application functions and personnel, ensuring accurate and timely cash posting and application, resolving unidentified receipts, and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures. This role is a hybrid onsite role (3-4 days a week onsite) in Bridgewater, NJ.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Cash Application function and personnel, ensuring accurate and timely cash posting and application.
• Allocate and prioritize workload, train, evaluate, and coach team members.
• Collaborate with banks and ICT to resolve issues related to 'lockbox' files and deposits.
• Ensure daily examination and capture of all payments received and monitor AR bank accounts, credit card merchant accounts, and payment processors.
• Prepare and maintain a 'cash log' to reconcile AR cash activity and formulate monthly Cash Accrual.
• Collaborate with AR Managers, Treasury, and AR Director regarding cash forecasting.
• Prepare or approve AR subledger journal entries related to Escheatment, refunds, misapplied payments, etc.
• Conduct and participate in meetings to foster continual process improvement.
• Monitor and ensure all internal accounts are reconciled.
• Investigate closed items as needed, answer customer and Audit questions, and participate in Audit meetings.
• Assist in system enhancement/conversion testing as needed.
The role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Applications, and Gross to Net.
Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager in the healthcare industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in cash applications and gross-to-net calculations.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the healthcare sector.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Must be authorized to work in the country, no sponsorship available.
