Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Description

Oversee team to ensure highest standards of customer service are met, as well as accurate and timely delivery of services. Create and implement continuous improvement strategies to promote business transformation and growth across all functions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments and vendors. As a member of the leadership team, this role is also responsible for cultivating a positive, productive, and safe workplace culture by promoting employee engagement and professional development.

What you’ll do:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure team consistently meets expected metrics and service levels for central bill account setup, billing, customer service, and collections activitiesOwn key vendor relationships, including regular governance reviews and exploration of new products or services that support improvement or growth strategiesPartner with IT, Finance, Sales, and other internal teams to clear roadblocks for the teamParticipate in budget development and ensure team performs within guidelinesSupport the development of new policies and procedures as neededUse performance data to analyze trends and develop improvement plans, including regular audits on team deliverables to ensure complianceSupport necessary training and development opportunities for team membersSubject matter expert in providing support for other Avis Budget Group regionsPerform all standard people leadership duties such as hiring, training, time-keeping approvals, performance discussions and reviews, disciplinary action

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other related field, or 10 years of related experienceMinimum 3 years of management and customer service experienceExperience with vendor managementDemonstrated history of driving continuous improvement, delivering on metrics, and developing peopleMust be a critical thinkerAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as superb interpersonal skills and the ability to act with discretion and professionalismProficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to navigate various PC systems
