What will I do as an Accounts Receivable Manager? • Oversee the AR functions for multiple business entities, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment collections • Monitor AR aging reports and take proactive measures to reduce any overdue accounts • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits in coordination with the sales team • Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and minimize bad debt • Investigate and resolve customer payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues promptly • Prepare monthly AR reports and present key metrics to senior management • Collaborate with sales team to address customer account issues and maintain strong customer relationships • Lead and mentor the AR team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in AR management What we’re looking for: • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field, preferred, however requisite experience could qualify • 5+ years of experience in AR management • Knowledge of collections • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Excel and Outlook • A high degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail • A history of providing excellent customer service • The ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of the organization • Effectiveness in working independently and as a team • A pattern of maintaining high accuracy and work efficiency to meet regular deadlines • Familiarity with the wholesale fuel distribution industry is a plus Physical Requirements: The work may be done in a sitting position with no excessive lifting, pulling, or pushing, and limited twisting, bending, and stooping.
