Join our Accounts team within our Wholesale departmet (Professional Solutions) as an Accounts Receivable Officer! Our team is seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment ideally witin the retail industry. If you're skilled in using large ERP systems and thrive in a busy setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

 

Requirements for Success

Follow up on overdue accounts, maintaining professional and courteous communication Proactive collection of payments in line with company policy Monitor and reconcile AR accounts to ensure up-to-date records Issuing customer statements. Reconciling accounts Resolving complex queries and disputes Assist in generating AR reports for management Communicating with internal and external points of contact Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment queries Foster positive relationships with clients/customers to facilitate a smooth payment process Ad hoc tasks as assigned by management

 

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, you will need solid prior experience within an Accounts Receivable and/or debt collection role. You will also require the following:

Accounting or Business qualification would be highly regarded Familiarity with large ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus but not essential. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent planning and organisation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
