About the Role: We are looking for a Accounts Receivable Processor to join our team. In this role, you will work with a team responsible for the processing of payments, reconciling of statements. Heavy month end duties and participate in yearly audits for the medical operating company.
This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities: Reconcile lockbox payments to appropriate customer accounts Process, verify and post daily bank deposits Research and resolve any payment discrepancies Support necessary activities within the Accounts Receivable team Interact with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives Prepare various reconciliations to general ledger Attend to each month end duties and complete on or prior to set deadlines Participate in yearly financial auditsRequired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of work experience performing accounting related tasks Demonstrated self-motivation, hands-on approach, attention to detail, dependability, and good judgment Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening) Proficiency using computer tools such as Microsoft Suite Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-through skills Ability to work successfully in a multidisciplinary team environment, gaining consensus when appropriate Ability to work independently, be proactive and follow through on pending tasks and deadlines Ability to dependably work and cover each month end Ability to accommodate changing priorities with a positive attitude Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Experience using an ERP system Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
