Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing bank reconciliations, distributing cash balance reports to management, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in expense report submissions. Additionally, you will reconcile various general ledger accounts, develop and maintain organized work papers, and collaborate with other departments to review financial information. Adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies is essential.

ResponsibilitiesComplete bank reconciliations for the company’s reporting entitiesComplete and distribute the company’s cash balance report to managementAct as liaison for the company’s corporate card program ensuring compliance and accuracy of all expense report submissionsHandle monthly reporting and respond to management inquiriesDevelop and maintain complete, accurate, and organized work papersReconcile various general ledger accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved timelyPrepare account reconciliations and supporting documentationCollaborate with other departments to gather and review financial informationEnsure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policiesEssential SkillsProficiency in invoicing, bank reconciliation, basic reporting, and credit card reconciliationsStrong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPExperience with a Large ERP SystemHigh attention to detailAbility to hit tight deadlinesComfortable with manual processesAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required4+ years of AR/Reconciliation experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to self-direct, prioritize tasks, and work with minimum supervisionContinues improvement mindsetAbility to meet tight deadlines and manage prioritiesWork Environment

This is a full-time, in-office position with working hours between 8 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The company offers a flexible start time between 7 am - 9 am, provided the schedule is consistent daily, with a requirement to work an 8-hour day. The accounting team consists of approximately 50 individuals, and the work environment is cubicle-style. Parking is available onsite for free. Employees have exposure to upper-level leadership and regularly participate in office lunches and company events.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $32.69
