Description
We are in the market for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Representative to join our manufacturing team located in SOUDERTON, Pennsylvania. As part of your role, you will be tasked with maintaining customer credit records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be in charge of monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. The Accounts Receivable Representative will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's receivables ledger. This includes invoicing, monitoring incoming payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain detailed records of customer credit
• Provide resolution for customer inquiries
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions
• Respond to customer calls and emails
• Investigate account discrepancies by liaising with customers and internal sales personnel
• Assist with uploading required invoices for specific customers through various web portals
• Encourage payments on outstanding balances by sending invoice reminders and communicating with customers through phone, email, fax, and mail
• Maintain detailed records of all customer communications on their account
• Assist customers with copies of invoices and credit memos
• Maintain customer accounts
• Update internal sales personnel on customer status
• Assist with customer payments and refunds processing when necessary
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
The ideal Accounts Receivable Representative will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable Representative role include and are not limited to:
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for this role.
• Prior experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• The candidate should demonstrate skill in Billing.
• Knowledge in Cash Applications is a must.
• The role requires expertise in Cash Collections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected.
• Familiarity with Oracle is a requirement.
• The candidate must have experience in QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of SAP is necessary for this position.
• Experience in Negotiating Pricing is expected.
