The Senior Accounts Receivable Representative will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of accounting operations team by reviewing and completing daily and periodic invoicing and receivable tasks with attention to detail. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem solving to ensure success. This role will work hybrid out of our Chicago office. 

Responsibilities Ensures the timely and accurate creation and submission of invoices to clients by working Accounts Receivable team members and the account management team.Works with the team on resubmission of invoices and sending of past due notices to clients.Reviews the accounts receivable aging report and propose allowances and reserves when necessary.Assist in managing emails coming in from internal and external clients about invoicing and reply in a concise and timely manner.Reviews data imported from sales system into ERP to ensure accurate invoice amounts and timing.Supports month-end close by performing reconciliations in a timely and accurate matter.Organizes and prepares information and reports for annual financial audit and work with outside auditors.Documents any process or policy changes to ensure procedures are up to date for someone else to back up work.Work on automating our accounting system with the help of the technical accounting team.Additional projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree requiredMinimum 5+ years of accounts receivable experienceExperience with Sage IntacctProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including lookups and pivot tables)Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships Who We Are
