Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist, Shared Services' primary responsibility is managing the distributors’ account receivable; ensuring timely collection while provide excellent customer service. The position will require working closely with the Regional Controller, Operations and Accounting teams and global treasury team on credit related matters as well as with CLC warehouse staff. The role requires a considerable amount of back and forth between multiple stakeholders to get to the bottom of the discrepancy, decision making, analysis, reporting and owning /managing the entire A/R process. 

What you’ll do here as Accounts Receivable Specialist?

Establish and maintain strong relationships with our internal operations and accounting team and distributor’s accounting department.

Ensure collections for invoices related to our distributor’s orders including managing discrepancies related to quantity and price.

Own the shipping claims process – investigate and work with our warehouses and quality team to respond with resolution to our distributors.

Reconcile stock rotation credits with distributor deductions.

Prepare monthly reporting including but not limited to the AR aging, returns and sales in analysis and DSO.

Monitor and resolve any orders that become credit blocked in collaboration with Fulfillment Operations.

Support team with application of cash receipts and marketing, rebate and return credit issuance.

Host phone calls as needed with our distributor’s accounting team.

Apply use of systematic reporting tools and reports to analytically manage daily responsibilities. 

Work alongside other members of the Shared Services, managing processes to maximize team effectiveness and cross collaboration: For example: Loan Program Order Entry, Credits to Distributors, Cash Receipts, A/P Entry

Work with Shared Services Manager to execute identify and execute on improvement efforts.

Perform other related duties when assigned.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

2+ years’ experience in the accounting or operations fields.

Understanding of Axis product portfolio is a plus.

General knowledge regarding revenue recognition and shipping incoterms.

Expected travel time for this position is approximately 10% annually.

Pay Range:

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $55,000-62,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
