The Columbia, South Carolina office of Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and maintaining up-to-date records of accounts receivable.

A Day in the Life

Accounts Receivable Specialist candidate will perform a wide variety of accounts receivable activities, including communicating with attorneys and clients, preparing reports, reconciling and analyzing accounts receivable accounts, and applying cash receipts. 

We Know You

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a specific focus on accounts receivable. They must possess excellent communication skills and good judgment, be organized and detail-oriented, and maintain a high level of accuracy. Strong data entry skills and the ability to prioritize work are essential. Proficiency in Excel is required. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of an associate degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university.
