Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist. The successful candidate will take on the management of incoming payments on behalf of the company, aiming to maintain accurate records and secure revenue through the prompt, accurate processing and recording of payments. Responsibilities: + Process and record invoices and transactions. + Follow up with clients on unpaid bills and negotiate payment plans. + Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources. + Make collection calls to clients in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations. + Work closely with customers and identify opportunities for improved collections. + Resolve billing problems and reconcile discrepancies. + Review account adjustments and resolve client discrepancies and short payments. + Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. + Run monthly aging reports and provide financial feedback to management. + Prepare deposits. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: + Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable clerk. + Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles. + Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records. + Proficiency in English and excellent customer service skills. + High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. + Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software. + Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar is preferred.
