Description Robert Half is working with a growing and dynamic distribution company on the North Shore seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its team. This is a permanent role, reporting into the Controller, joining a very solid group. This role will oversee all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process and we're recruiting for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The desired candidate must have fantastic interpersonal skills and needs to be well versed in Excel. It would be preferred that the Accounts Receivable Specialist have prior experience in the distribution or manufacturing space. Great Plains software is an added bonus. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Applications, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections • Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) accounting software is an advantage • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is desirable • Familiarity with general accounting principles and procedures • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
